From what I read the Small Tree drivers verify if the Intel card is a 'Small Tree Intel card'. This is most likely done using the subsystem-id and subsystem-vendor-id in the PCI configuration space, something which can now be spoof using FakePCIID. Has anyone found one? Fork of Mieze's Intel Mausi Network Driver by RehabMan How to Install: Install to /S/L/E or /L/E using your favorite kext installer. Or if using during installation, copy the kext to EFI/Clover/kexts/Other. There are no real changes in this repo. I only forked it so I could have a build on bitbucket for automated scripts which download and install (via download.sh and install_downloads.sh used by my guides) I will occasionally update the repo to sync with Mieze's changes (after testing). Downloads: Downloads are available on Bitbucket: Original README follows: IntelMausiEthernet OS X driver for Intel onboard LAN A few days before Christmas I started my latest project, a new driver for recent Intel onboard LAN controllers. My intention was not to replace hnak's AppleIntelE1000e.kext completely but to deliver best performance and stability on recent hardware. That's why I dropped support for a number of older NICs. Currently the driver supports: • 5 Series • 82578LM • 82578LC • 82578DM • 82578DC • 6 and 7 Series • 82579LM • 82579V • 8 and 9 Series • I217LM • I217V • I218LM • I218V • I218LM2 • I218V2 • I218LM3 • 100 Series • I219V • I219LM • I219V2 • I219LM2 • I219LM3 Key Features of the Driver • Support for multisegment packets relieving the network stack of unnecessary copy operations when assembling packets for transmission. • No-copy receive and transmit. Only small packets are copied on reception because creating a copy is more efficient than allocating a new buffer. • TCP, UDP and IPv4 checksum offload (receive and transmit). • Support for TCP/IPv6 and UDP/IPv6 checksum offload. • Makes use of the chip's TCP Segmentation Offload (TSO) feature with IPv4 and IPv6 in order to reduce CPU load while sending large amounts of data. • Fully optimized for Yosemite and Mavericks (64bit architecture) but should work with Mountain Lion and Lion too, provided you build from source with the 10.8 or 10.7 SDK. • Support for Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE). • VLAN support is implemented but untested as I have no need for it. • The driver is published under GPLv2. You will nead to get a new video card sound realtek 888 yes sata has to be set to Ich 7 in the bios lan yes will work with some tinkering To get your Yukon 88E8056 Ethernet to work, you need to add your device id to the AppleYukon.kext. I just tried my new set based on the following components: Shuttle PC Barebone SG31G2B Intel Core2Duo E8400 2x 3Ghz 2x2Gb Kingston Valueram PC6400CL5 XFX Geforce 7600GT 256Mb Panasonic DVD-R106 WD RE2 SATA 500Gb First time I started I got no video. I used the onboard VGA port. Lan Driver For Windows 7This does not work. I moved my monitor to the DVI-1 port on the Geforce and I got image. In the Bios I chose 'Load Optimize Defaults' and all processorfrequencies were set right to match the E8400 Setup of 10.4.8 worked including the NV40 extension for full 7600GT support. The system shows a 3ghz CPU with 2 cores, bus speed is 1333 mhz, Memory speed is 800 mhz. I followed the Yukon extensions modification as described above, and that worked perfectly. Three problems though: My monitor does not wake from sleep. Intel G33 G31 Driver UpdateI have no sound support The fans run maximum speed all the time. Does anybody have idea's to fix that?
